here but live in another parish in the wider area. Those outside the parish and without a direct
link with St Mary’s should approach their local church for baptism there.
Baptism services generally take place at 12:00 pm on the first Sunday of each month.

Please note that we have many requests for baptisms during the months March through to
September so you may have to wait.
When you have fixed the date, you will be sent a Baptism Pack and an invitation for you and
the child’s godparents to a preparation evening.
Christian Baptism will be explained and we will go through the service so that you know what
to expect to the day. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions and meet other
parents bringing their children for baptism.
