Parish Registers and Records
Baptism, Wedding and Burial
The church does not hold any ancient parish registers or records.
Only the current registers that are 'in use' are held by the church.

Registers for the parish and periods below are held by the Sheffield Archive.
Parish Number: PR 54
Parish: Ecclesfield, St Mary
Baptism:        1599-1974
Marriage:      1558-1986
Burials:          1558-1963
NB: Some but not all records may be on microfiche

To obtain copies of entries in these registers we would suggest that you contact and visit the
Sheffield Archives to view the Parish Registers in the Archdeaconry of Sheffield.

Please note that baptism may have taken place several months or even years after a child’s
birth, so it may take some time to check through all the records of that period.
