Prayer Meetings and Ignatian Evenings
Prayer
You might like to use the following prayer.

Write your name, O Lord, name upon my heart, there to remain so indelibly engraved,
that no prosperity, no adversity shall ever move me from your love.
Be to me a strong tower of defence, a comforter in tribulation, a deliverer in
distress, a very present help in trouble, and a guide to heaven through the
many temptations and dangers of this life.
AMEN
These prayer meetings are for everyone to bring what concerns them or what they feel they
have received and wish to give thanks for. If you wish you may just spend some quite time
with your own thoughts, meditations and prayers.

It really is just what comes up at the meetings and in most sessions our prayers will cover
several areas.

All meetings are held in the peace and quite of the Church.
Dates and times are given below.

Prayer Meetings - 2012
Ignatian Evenings- 2012
Please come and join us bringing your concerns or thanksgivings for prayer.
If you are unable to join us and would like us to pray for you, or someone you love, or a
situation you find yourself in, then please use the link below.
Ignatian prayer is imaginative, reflective, and personal. St. Ignatius Loyola encouraged
people to develop an intimate relationship with a God who loves them and desires the best
for them. St. Ignatius trusted human desires. He believed that our deepest desire is to return
God’s love. St. Ignatius also trusted feelings. He believed that feelings of joy and sorrow,
peace and distress, were important indicators of the path toward fruitful decisions and deeper
union with God.
