Family Communion - Christmas Day
December 25th at 10.30 am
A traditional Christmas Day Morning communion service of celebration with carols and
readings, a great opportunity to meet and offer each other ‘Season’s Greetings’ before
heading home to tuck into the turkey.
Carol Service - Christmas Eve
December 24th at 6.30 pm
A traditional Christmas Eve Service of Carols and Readings. The service celebrates the
Christmas Story in words, music and song and the Choir usually sings a number of carols
and solos. This is a very popular service so please arrive early to get a good seat.
Crib Service - Christmas Eve
December 24th at 4.00 pm
A traditional part of the Christmas Services at St. Mary's is the Children's Crib service. This
takes place on Christmas Eve at 4.00 pm. The service tells the Christmas Story in words,
music and action.
Christingle Service
December 19th at 4.00 pm
It is 40 years since The Children's Society introduced Christingle services to The Church of
England. Join in our celebration and hold a Christingle of your own. This is a wonderful
opportunity to bring together children, family and friends, forge stronger links between
churches, local schools and youth groups and together celebrate the Christmas message.
Remembrance Service
November 14th at 10.00 am
Traditional Service of Remembrance starting at 10.00 am in church and moving outside for
the 11.00 am service at the War memorial.
All Souls Service
November 7th at 4.30 pm
A traditional All Souls' Service of remembrance for those we no longer see - All are welcome -
no invitation required.
Harvest Service
October 3rd at 10.30 am
A Family Service to celebrate the gathering in of the harvest.
Holiday Club Service
August 22nd at 10.30 am
A service of celebration at the end of the Holiday Club Week, parents and grandparents are
most welcome to join us.
Family Communion - Boxing Day
December 26th at 10.30 am
A combined Sunday service replacing the 9.30 am and 11.15 am services.
Wedding Vow Renewal Service
Friday 17th September at 7.30 pm.
This service (part of the flower festival) will be led by The Venerable Martyn Snow
-Archdeacon of Sheffield and Rotherham.
